Heart+Patients

Cardiovascular Cartography is a new non – invasive technique for measurement of regional myocardial (Heart muscle) blood flow turbulence and functional deviations. The technique can be used in early Detection of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) which leads to heart attack. The non-invasive technique for detecting CAD available at present are Stress ECG, Stress Thallium .

Stress test has its own limitations and drawbacks. First of all the patients have to be stressed and in some cases patients with ECG abnormalities or physical problems in the leg etc. should not be stressed.

For Cardiac Cartography patient need NOT be stressed. The cartography is useful for measurement of regional Myocardial (Heart muscle) blood flow and to assess systolic and diastolic circulatory status, based on flow Turbulence and functional deviations. The technique can be useful for early detection of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) which leads to heart attacks.
